Tailormade Logistics sets up in-house customs operation
This summer, Tailormade Logistics (TML) set up a new entity, Tailormade Customs, headed by Omar Boukhzar. Omar brings over 10 years of experience in customs to Tailormade Customs.
Support UK customers’ expansion
Omar Boukhzar: “The establishment of Tailormade Customs allows us to support the continued growth and expansion of our TML customers into new geographies outside of the EU. Through Tailormade Customs, we can offer our customers seamless, end-to-end logistics services.”
“Initially our focus is on the border between the UK and Europe, where many customers still struggle since Brexit. Both UK and EU customers can enjoy a smooth customs clearance process, allowing them to grow their exports within a combined market of over 500m people.”
Warehousing and fulfilment

One-stop-shop
With the establishment of Tailormade Customs, Tailormade Logistics becomes a true one-stop shop where customers find a tailor-made solution to their logistics challenges, in combination with customs advice and services.
Tailormade is an asset-based company, managing a fleet of 550 trucks, 500 containers and 950 trailers, 440,000 m2 of warehouse space and 25 logistics hubs in 8 European countries. This allows TML to cover the entire supply chain: first-mile and last-mile by road or multimodal as well as handling all customs formalities.
Sustainable transport
The wide range of multimodal destinations, both by rail and waterways, and the option to use HVO for road transport, enables Tailormade customers to execute their logistics processes in a sustainable way.
